Anyone who has had to go to the one emergency room in Clarksville knows that it is overcrowded, poorly staffed, dirty, and has many other issues. It is also difficult to get to because it is so far away from any freeway exit.
Because the hospital has a monopoly in Clarksville, there is no reason for it to change.
Clarksville desperately needs other emergency room options and the new Ascension Saint Thomas would be an excellent addition to Clarksville.
