Child Care for Families, Not Billionaires’ Profits — Vote NO!

Dear Congressman Larsen,
I’m writing to urge you to stand with working families and early learning providers — not with greedy billionaires looking to profit off our children’s future.
Child care is essential infrastructure. It allows parents to work, children to thrive, and our communities to grow. Yet it remains underfunded, undervalued, and increasingly targeted by private interests who see child care as a business opportunity, not a public good.
“We can't build a strong economy on the backs of exhausted parents and underpaid caregivers.”
That’s why I’m calling on you to:
- Reject policies that divert public child care funds into the hands of private investors
- Increase public investment in affordable, high-quality child care
- Ensure providers — especially women of color — are paid a living wage
- Protect community-based and nonprofit care models that reflect local values
We’ve seen what happens when billionaire-backed efforts undermine public systems — and we won’t let that happen to child care. Families are organizing. Providers are speaking out. And we are watching.
Say no to corporate greed. Say yes to children, families, and the future.
Why is this important?
We all benefit from a society where children are cared for, parents can work without panic, and providers aren’t forced to live in poverty.
Right now, billionaires and private interests are trying to turn our child care crisis into a cash grab. They're not here to help families — they’re here to profit.
When care becomes a commodity, equity goes out the window.
That’s why I’m fighting for a system that puts people over profit — a system that guarantees every child the right to quality early learning and every caregiver the dignity of fair pay.
Join me because:
- You believe no parent should have to choose between a paycheck and their child’s wellbeing
- You know care work is real work — and deserves real respect
- You want a future where families thrive, not just survive
This campaign isn’t about politics. It’s about values. And if you believe in justice, care, and community, there’s a place for you here.
Let’s build it — together.
